We are now ready to release version 1.1 of Australian Postcodes to the iPhone App Store.
We have re-developed it from the ground up to provide a more stable base for ongoing development. Sadly, ’sounds-like’ searching bit the dust on the way through.
The features that did make it are:
- Search - find postcodes by place name or by postcode
- Correct Case Capitalisation - place names are no longer in ALL CAPITALS
- Google Maps integration - view where a postcode is located on a map
- Bookmarking - save your favourite postcode entries to a bookmarks page for quick reference
- Delivery Area vs. Post Office Boxes - view whether a postcode is for post boxes only or for an actual physical location.
We’ll let you know when the update is ready to be downloaded from the iPhone App Store.
